Michael Vick Likely Done For Eagles Preseason

The Philadelphia Eagles won Monday night's preseason game against the New England Patriots by a final score of 27-17. But even in victory, the Eagles still lost.

Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick may sit out the team's final two preseason games after suffering an injury to his ribs on Monday night. Eagles' head coach Andy Reid said that as a veteran, Vick should be fine if he has to miss the last two tune-ups before the regular season kicks off:

If he didn’t play again (in the preseason) then he’d be OK,” Reid said. “I would tell you I’d probably like to see him play a little bit more, but he’s got enough experience. We’re not talking about a rookie. I think he’ll probably be OK.

In the Eagles' preseason opener, Vick suffered an injury to his left thumb against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
