Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch did not practice on Tuesday or Wednesday and appears unlikely to play in the team's preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday night. Lynch has been bothered by a back injury, which does not appear to be serious.
Marshawn Lynch Expected To Miss Seahawks-Chiefs Game
Lynch played in the Seahawks' most recent preseason game, which Seattle won, 30-10. He carried the ball six times for 37 yards. He's coming off a 2011 season in which he started 15 games, ran for 1,204 yards and scored a total of 13 touchdowns. The yardage and touchdown totals are career highs. It was his first 1,000-yard season since he crossed that barrier in 2008 while playing for the Buffalo Bills.
The Seahawks meet the Chiefs at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
