Rams Vs. Lions Reaction: A Win Is A Win, Says Pride Of Detroit

The Detroit Lions won. That's about the extent of the positives of Sunday's game. The Lions had to squeak it out against the lowly St. Louis Rams, but squeak they did, scoring a go-ahead touchdown with only 10 seconds remaining to win, 27-23

Sean Yuille of SB Nation’s Detroit Lions blog, Pride of Detroit, had the following to say about the Lions’ performance Sunday.

There’s no doubt that the Lions have to play better going forward, especially next week in primetime against the San Francisco 49ers. However, the important thing about Sunday’s game is that the Lions did manage to win despite playing very sloppy. Stafford was off his game for most of the day, but when it mattered most, he locked in and led the Lions down the field for the game-winning touchdown. Hopefully next week there will be much less sloppiness...

Pretty or not pretty, the Lions head into next week a perfect 1-0.
