Terrell Thomas Injury: Giants Corner Out For The Season
The fifth-year defensive back out of USC has been battling knee problems since he tore his ACL in college, and hasn’t played for the Giants since he tore his ACL again during the 2011 preseason.
The Giants were hoping to have him back as the starter at corner opposite Prince Amukamara, but will have to look elshewhere as Thomas will be missing his second consecutive NFL regular season.
Thomas has played in 44 career games for New York, 34 of which have been starts. He has 177 tackles and 11 career interceptions to go along with 38 career passes defensed.
