The Houston Texans escaped a Wild Card win over the Cincinnati Bengals without suffering any major injuries -- which is certainly good news for the Texans and their fans alike.
Bengals vs. Texans NFL injury report: Brooks Reed records sack in return
Houston’s defense received a boost during its win on Saturday, as Brooks Reed, who missed four of Houston’s last five games, recorded three tackles and a sack.
Houston linebacker Brooks Reed played in the Texans' win, after missing four of Houston's final five games because of a groin injury suffered on Thanksgiving. Reed recorded three tackles and a sack against Cincinnati. Reed did not appear in Houston's regular season loss to the New England Patriots, so Gary Kubiak and his staff will certainly be delighted to have Reed active next weekend.
Houston tight end Garrett Graham missed two of Houston's final four games, including the loss to New England, but played in Houston's last two regular season games and playoff game. Graham, who missed two weeks because of a concussion, caught three passes for 29 yards in Houston's win over the Bengals.
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones left Saturday's game with a left hamstring injury. The severity of Jones' injury isn't known, but Jones will have the entire offseason to heal.
