The Vegas line opened at -7.5 in San Francisco's favor, but quickly moved into double digits after the 49ers destroyed the Houston Texans, 34-3. They easily covered the four-point line in that game. After a rocky start to the season, the 49ers won two in a row and are back in the thick of the NFC West race. They are 3-2 against the spread this season.
The Cardinals played a sloppy, turnover-filled game in Week 5, but they ended up making fewer mistakes and beat the Carolina Panthers, 22-6. They entered the game as three-point underdogs and were able to cover by winning. Arizona has yet to be favored this season, but with a 3-2 record, that has worked out well for bold gamblers so far. The Cardinals are now 4-1 against the spread.
