Calais Campbell injury: Cardinals DE carted off field vs. 49ers
The Cardinals defense suffered a potentially devastating loss.

Campbell lay on the field for several minutes in front of a quiet stadium after suffering the injury. He was put on a stretcher and carted off the field as players from both sides surrounded him. Later, reports said that he had numbness and tingling but was moving his extremities. There are no further details known about the severity of his injury. Doctors will perform further tests on him throughout the injury.
Losing Campbell for any stretch of time would be a crushing blow to Arizona’s defense. Before the injury, he was having another dominant performance in a losing effort for the Cardinals. On the season, he recorded 3.5 sacks, 18 tackles and a forced fumble. He has 31 sacks in the past five seasons with the Cardinals.
