Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams is inactive for the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Adam Schefter.
Eagles vs. Buccaneers 2013 inactives: Mike Williams out
Tampa Bay will be without one of its best receivers on Sunday.
Williams is sidelined with a hamstring injury that he injured against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. It was thought Williams would be able to play through the injury coming into the week, but it proved too much to overcome.
Now, rookie Mike Glennon will have to rely even more on running back Doug Martin and receiver Vincent Jackson to contribute to an offense which has struggled mightily throughout the winless campaign.
Williams has 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 15 catches this year. The former Syracuse Orange star had his best season back in 2010 as a rookie when he caught 65 passes for 964 yards and 11 touchdowns. Last season, Williams had another productive year with 996 yards and nine scores.
The rest of the inactives for both teams are as follows:
Eagles, per the Buccaneers: Tight ends James Casey and Emil Igwenagu, tackles Dennis Kelly and Matt Tobin, cornerbacks Jordan Poyer and Shaun Prater, and defensive end Damion Square.
Buccaneers, per the team's official twitter: Cornerbacks Michael Adams and Rashaan Melvin, defensive ends William Gholston and Trevor Scott, guards Carl Nicks and Patrick Omameh, and Williams.
