Green Bay's Randall Cobb suffered a fractured fibula on Sunday and the wide receiver is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, according to Tyler Dunne of the Journal Sentinel.

Cobb suffered the injury against Baltimore when Ravens safety Matt Elam hit Cobb low when attempting a tackle. It appeared Elam's helmet may have hit Cobb in the leg. Cobb stayed down briefly before being helped off the field. He returned to the sideline later in the game, using crutches.

Earlier on Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Cobb was expected to miss two weeks. The injury proved to be more serious, however, with a source telling Dunne Cobb’s fibula nearly broke “all the way through.” Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy did not provide specific details on the injury, but did confirm Cobb would miss “multiple weeks.”

Although Green Bay will be forced to make due without one of its top receivers, Dunne reported James Jones could return this week. Jones also left Sunday's game early due to an injury.
