Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb could return in 2013, but it's unclear exactly when that will be. He spoke with the media on Wednesday and told reporters it's unclear when he'll be able to return to action, while focusing on his rehabilitation.
Randall Cobb injury: ‘No timeline’ for return of Packers WR
Randall Cobb isn’t making any promises when he’ll be back.

Cobb suffered a broken leg against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6 when rookie safety Matt Elam made contact with his leg on a diving tackle. Cobb underwent surgery and was placed on injured reserve, with a designation he could return. Initial reports indicated he could return in six to eight weeks, which would put his return in mid-December. Cobb was quick to indicate that this date was a best-case scenario.
“That’s the earliest I could come back,” he said. “It’s not a target date. It’s the earliest that I can come back depending on where I am in my rehab.”
Despite having a possible return date, Cobb said there is no clear timetable for his return.
“I can’t make that call right now,” Cobb said when asked if he is certain he will play again this season. “Right now, today, I cannot play. I’m doing everything I can. I’m working my butt off in the rehab process. This is something that it needs time. It’s getting better. There’s still no timeline on when I can come back.”
Green Bay's playoff hopes hang in the balance after losing quarterback Aaron Rodgers to injury. Without their starting quarterback and top receiver, it's unclear if the Packers can make a push into the postseason. If the team limps through the next month without too many losses, it could be poised for a late push when both players return.
