NFC East playoff picture: Giants only two games back after Cowboys loss
The New York Giants were dead in the water two weeks ago, now they may have a chance at winning the NFC East.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants looked dead in the water with an 0-6 record two weeks ago, consecutive wins, including Sunday's 15-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, have them sitting at 2-6 and only two games out of the NFC East division lead.
To make matters even more complicated, Washington is currently beating the Denver Broncos by a touchdown in the second half. A win would help Washington keep pace in a muddled division race.
Here is an updated look at the NFC East standings after Sunday’s results. Keep in mind the results of Washington’s game are still up in the air, hence the asterisk.
1. Dallas Cowboys (4-4)
2. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5)
3. Washington Redskins (2-5)*
4. New York Giants (2-6)
