The Tennessee Titans will be without starting quarterback Jake Locker for the remainder of the 2013 season. Head coach Mike Munchak announced that Locker sustained a Lisfranc injury in Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, forcing him out for the year.

Locker was having his best season since entering the league in 2011. The third-year quarterback started seven games for Tennessee, completing over 60-percent of his passes and throwing eight touchdowns with four interceptions. It was believed Locker had finally turned the corner, but this latest injury raises questions about his future with the organization.

Injuries have sidelined Locker for much of his career, forcing him to miss a total of 25 games in three seasons. His inability to stay healthy has been a liability for a young team in need of consistency at the quarterback position.

The Titans will turn to veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick while Locker is out. He has played in four games this season, posting a passer rating of 76.0 and leading the team to an 0-3 record as a starter.
