Break up the Jags! Jacksonville is no longer a threat to go 0-16 after beating the Titans, 29-27. The Titans lost Jake Locker to a foot injury early and Chris Johnson was held to 30 yards.
Jake Locker lost for season

Don McPeak-USA TODAY SportsLocker was having his best season since entering the league in 2011. The third-year quarterback started seven games for Tennessee, completing over 60-percent of his passes and throwing eight touchdowns with four interceptions. It was believed Locker had finally turned the corner, but this latest injury raises questions about his future with the organization.
Injuries have sidelined Locker for much of his career, forcing him to miss a total of 25 games in three seasons. His inability to stay healthy has been a liability for a young team in need of consistency at the quarterback position.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY SportsThe 0-8 Jaguars lead the 4-4 Titans, 13-7, and are in position for their first win since Nov. 25, 2012. That victory, coincidentally, also came against the Titans.
The Jacksonville defense has played well, forcing the Titans into three turnovers -- two of them by Locker -- in the first half. Fitzpatrick has played well in relief, however, going 5-of-5 with a touchdown after replacing Locker.

Locker appeared to hurt himself late in the second quarter while trying to hand the ball off to Chris Johnson. He spent time being evaluated on the sideline before limping into the locker room for treatment. He is questionable to return to the game.

USA TODAY SportsJacksonville should be fresh off a bye week, but the Jaguars are still searching for ways to be competitive. They have struggled to even challenge teams this year, and their minus-178 point differential is more than double the second-worst team.
On paper, Sunday’s game shouldn’t be much of a contest, but the teams have been fairly well-matched in recent seasons, splitting their last eight meetings.
