Two Chris Johnson touchdowns have put the Titans in control on Thursday night.

The Indianapolis Colts entered LP Field with an expectation of dominance, but have been stunned in the first half of Thursday Night Football. Entering halftime the Tennessee Titans hold a commanding lead, 17-6.

Chris Johnson has been unstoppable in the first half, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns -- matching his season score total in one quarter of football. It's been difficult to project his effectiveness this season after a series of up-and-down games, but Johnson has been reliable against Indianapolis. A combination of pass rushing and reliable running is controlling the clock and Andrew Luck can't generate offense.

Defensive struggles from the Colts gave way to a chippy game in the second quarter. Indianapolis linebacker Erik Walden ripped off the helmet of tight end Delanie Walker, before putting adding an exclamation point in the form of a headbutt. Things quickly went downhill as the defense committed back-to-back unnecessary roughness penalties, leading to a Tennessee field goal.

Luck has thrown for 108 yards, Johnson has run for 80 yards and both sides are fighting. The conclusion to Thursday Night Football will be one to watch.
