Chris Johnson rushes for 2 TDs early in Colts-Titans
Chris Johnson already has 70 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the first quarter, giving the Titans a 14-0 lead early over the Colts.
The Titans are moving the ball methodically on the Colts. On their first drive, they went 80 yards in eight plays, capped by Johnson's 30-yard burst. Working out of the shotgun, Ryan Fitzpatrick completed four passes to set the Titans up at the 30-yard line, then Johnson took a handoff and exploded through the right side of the line for an easy score.
The second touchdown came with more effort. The Titans drove 61 yards in 10 plays to earn 2nd-and-2 from the 7-yard line. Johnson hit a crease over the left guard this time, and dragged defenders the final two yards to the the goal line.
If Johnson keeps this pace up, he’ll have a career day. In the mean time, the Colts will need to find something resembling an offense or else they’ll be left behind.
