Arian Foster active for Texans vs. Colts

The Texans back will give it a go despite dealing with a hamstring injury.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is expected to be active for Sunday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Texans decided to let him play despite his hamstring injury.

Foster was limited in practice and listed as questionable in Friday's injury report. The Texans called him a game-time decision, but he will be suiting up. His backup, Ben Tate, is dealing with cracked ribs but is also expected to be active. Foster has been dealing with his usual string of minor lingering injuries this season, recording 542 rushing yards on 121 carries and one touchdown in seven games.

The Texans have been banged up at the running back spot and searched for depth after releasing rookie Cierre Wood for violating team rules. They signed Dennis Johnson, Deji Karim and Ray Graham off the streets in case Foster and Tate continue to be limited by injuries.
