Colts vs. Texans 2013: Andrew Luck and Case Keenum inspire confidence

Monday’s talking points for Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans fans both centered on their signal callers.

The Indianapolis Colts engineered another comeback on the arm of Andrew Luck, once again finding a way to win against the odds. Naturally the discussion in Indianapolis centered on Luck's ability to turn the team around, but in Houston, fans were also wondering if they'd found their franchise quarterback.

Brad Wells of Stampede Blue believes it’s time for Luck to be in the MVP discussion following another come-from-behind victory.

Sunday night was the third 4th quarter comeback of the season for Luck, and the seventh of his already brilliant young career. He’s also logged ten game-winning drives, the most by any quarterback in the entire league over a two-year stretch.

To say Luck is “clutch” is like saying fire kinda burns a little. Right now, Luck defines clutch in the modern NFL. No one is performing better in the big moments than No. 12 for the Colts.

The folks at Battle Red Blog were largely concerned with the health of head coach Gary Kubiak, who collapsed at midfield -- but Vega still took some time to recognize that Keenum is the reason to tune in.

Game Balls:

Offense: Case Keenum.

Andre Johnson had as good a first half as I've ever seen, but I'm giving this to Case for just overall spectacular play. As I said above, I don't yet know if he's just off to a hot start or if he's the read deal, but he's absolutely the main reason to watch Texans football right now.
