Colts vs. Texans 2013 results: Indianapolis comes from behind to beat Houston

Andrew Luck turned it on in the second half for the Colts.

For a while on Sunday Night Football, it appeared as if Case Keenum was the star young quarterback of the AFC South and Andrew Luck was the one lacking in experience. But the Indianapolis Colts came storming back from down 21-3 at halftime to beat the Houston Texans, 27-24.

Keenum was brilliant early on, throwing three first-half touchdowns to wide receiver Andre Johnson, who had more than 200 receiving yards. In the second half, it was Luck dominating through the air. He threw three touchdowns of his own, all to T.Y. Hilton.

After swapping field goals to open the second half, the Colts scored 21 unanswered points to pull off the improbable comeback. The Texans had a chance to tie the game with a field goal in the final seconds, but Randy Bullock missed his third field goal of the game.

Houston’s offense was out of sync for the entire second half after coach and play caller Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field at halftime and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The Texans never regained composure.

With the win, Indianapolis improves to 6-2 on the season. The loss sinks Houston’s chances of making a comeback in the division race. They are now 2-6.

Fantasy Studs and Duds

Both quarterbacks were studs in this game. Keenum threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns to go with no interception. With over 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns, Johnson was also a dominant fantasy performer on Sunday night.

For the Colts, Luck qualifies as a stud with his three touchdowns. Considering Hilton caught everyone of them, fantasy owners had to have been happy with him after his Week 9 performance.

Injury Report

Texans running back Arian Foster left the game after the first series with a back injury and did not return. Texans coach Gary Kubiak collapsed at halftime and was taken to the hospital. The Texans haven't given official word on his status.
