Through one half in his first career start, Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum has exceeding expectations, leading the Texans to a 21-3 lead over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.
Texans vs. Colts 2013 score update: Houston leading Indianapolis 21-3 at halftime
Houston came out of the bye week firing.

Keenum threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns in the first half, including some nice deep passes to Andre Johnson, who caught all three touchdowns. Running back Arian Foster left the game after the first series with a back injury, but Keenum kept the Texans' offense moving with great efficiency.
The Colts, meanwhile, couldn't move the ball on offense. Trent Richardson continued to struggle, while Andrew Luck played one of the worst halves of his professional career. He completed only three of his 12 passing attempts for 56 yards.
The 18-point lead has given the Texans life. Houston came out of the bye week with a 2-5 record, trailing the Colts by three games for the division lead. This was a desperation game for Houston, and the team has played like it.
