Jim O’Connor-USA TODAY SportsPryor came into the game and led Oakland to a field goal, and the Raiders now trail 10-3. After starting the first eight games of the year and then giving way to McGloin, Pryor is 2-of-5 for 20 yards thus far.
Update: McGloin came back into the game shortly after. It appears Allen is content to give both players some time at the position.

Rick StewartIt didn’t go well for Smith last week, as he was yanked at halftime of the Jets’ brutal 23-3 loss to Miami. Now 5-7, the team has lost three consecutive and put up just six points combined over their last two games. McGloin has been better, but hasn’t been able to keep the 4-8 Raiders from dropping their last two games, making them 1-4 over their last five outings.
The defense remains one of the better units in the league, ranking 12th in yardage allowed, but hasn’t been able to cover up the offense’s ineptitude. Its strength is up front against the run, where New York is limiting opponents to a league-best 77 yards per game. With Oakland’s running back corps banged up, expect McGloin to have to air it out early and often.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY SportsPredictably, the experts haven’t reached much of a consensus when it comes to this one. Of SB Nation’s panel of six experts, three picked the Raiders (Joel Thorman, Jason Chilton, David Fucillo) and three picked the Jets (Matt Ufford, Stephen White, Ryan Van Bibber).
Over at CBS Sports, it’s a similar spread, but it favors the Raiders slightly. New York was picked by three of the eight experts, while the other five picked the Raiders to win it on the road. Pete Prisco was one notable picking New York, while Jason La Canfora and Will Brinson notably picked the Raiders.
