NFL picks and predictions, Colts vs. Bengals 2013: Experts favor Cincinnati
The Indianapolis Colts will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14, and the experts are picking the home team en masse.
The Indianapolis Colts are set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a Week 14 matchup on Sunday. Indianapolis is 8-4 and in sole possession of the AFC South, though they've alternated wins and losses in their last five games. Still, the most recent outing was a 22-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Cincinnati is 8-4 as well, atop the NFC North, and riding a two-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Bengals bested the San Diego Chargers in Week 13, 17-10. Cincinnati holds a two-game advantage over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North, and seems well in line for a playoff spot. The Colts have a three-game lead over the Titans following the Week 13 win, and are even more secure than the Bengals at this point.
When it comes to the experts at SB Nation, the game isn’t so close. Five of the six experts picked the Bengals to hold off the Colts at home. That’s Ryan Van Bibber, Jason Chilton, Stephen White, David Fucillo and Matt Ufford in favor of the Bengals. Only Joel Thorman thinks the Colts will score the tough road win.
It’s even more clear over at CBS Sports. All eight of their experts, which includes Pete Prisco, Jason La Canfora and Will Brinson, among others, believe that the Bengals will win this one outright.
