NFL odds and lines, Browns vs. Patriots 2013: New England heavily favored at home
The New England Patriots are heavy favorites over the Cleveland Browns in Week 14.
The Cleveland Browns are set to take on the New England Patriots in a Week 14 matchup on Sunday. Cleveland (4-8) has struggled through significant injuries and multiple poor starts by quarterback Brandon Weeden. New England (9-3) has recovered from some early season offensive struggles to take a commanding lead of the AFC East.
The Browns are at the bottom of the AFC North, though only two games behind the Baltimore Ravens and one behind the Pittsburgh Steelers. Unfortunately, the Cincinnati Bengals hold the division lead at 8-4. New England's biggest threat is a 6-6 Miami squad and a 5-7 New York Jets team.
As expected, the betting lines are wildly in favor of the Patriots. The opening lines have New England favored by 10 points, and the line has only moved further in their favor on many sites, according to OddsShark. The Patriots could be favored by as much as 13 points early in the week. It certainly helps that the game is being played at Gillette Stadium.
The over/under for the matchup opened at 45 points. That total has gone over in five of New England’s last seven games, 10 of its last 15 games at home and four of its last five games against the Browns.
