Chiefs vs. Redskins 2013 picks and predictions: Kansas City expected to win
Kansas City has lost three straight, but most expect the Chiefs to bounce back against a hapless Washington squad.
The Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs will do battle on Sunday afternoon at FedEx Field.
Washington has nothing more than pride left to play for after losing 24-17 to the New York Giants last week, officially eliminating them from the playoff picture. The Redskins have had a miserable season following a 2012 NFC East title, mostly due to a porous offensive line and a not-quite-right Robert Griffin III.
Kansas City has lost three consecutive games but still holds a commanding lead for the No. 5 seed in the AFC at 9-3. Should the Chiefs win this game and either the Miami Dolphins or Baltimore Ravens lose, they would clinch their first playoff berth since 2010.
Of the 13 ESPN.com experts, only Seth Wickersham picks the Redskins to win. Over on CBSSports.com, three of the eight analysts believe Washington will cover the 3.5-point spread, but all of them are taking the Chiefs to emerge with a win.
