Case Keenum completed over 50 percent of his passes against the Jaguars, totaling 159 yards and one touchdown -- but it wasn't enough. The struggling Houston Texans pulled the rookie quarterback Thursday night, turning back to a familiar face.
Matt Schaub replaces Case Keenum for Texans
The Texans pulled quarterback Case Keenum in the third quarter.

Matt Schaub took the field against Jacksonville in the second half, away from the chorus of boos that met the veteran quarterback when he last replaced Keenum at home in Week 11 against the Oakland Raiders. Schaub initially lost his job due to a series of interceptions that caused the Texans to lose eight of their first 10 games, ensuring the team would not only miss the playoffs, but potentially match the worst season in franchise history.
Jacksonville held a 14-point lead when the switch was made, and Schaub quickly got Houston back in the game. He completed six of his first seven passes, including a touchdown to narrow the lead and give the Texans a chance. Fans in Houston already dislike Schaub -- if he costs the Texans the No.1 overall pick, there’s no telling what will be meeting the team jet.
