Former New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw thinks the possibility of him removing "former" from the beginning of sentences like this one is a real possibility. According to NFL.com, Bradshaw told NFL AM on Tuesday that the Giants said there was a chance for Bradshaw to return with the team.

The Giants released Bradshaw on Feb. 6, to clear out about $3.75 million in cap room for 2013. Bradshaw's release came shortly after the team released linebacker Michael Boley. Like Boley, Bradshaw had a strong season in 2012, with 1,015 rushing yards and 245 receiving yards.
In all, Bradshaw totaled 4,232 yards and 32 touchdowns along with his two Super Bowl rings with the Giants from 2007-12.
But he didn't just name the Giants when talking about potential destinations for next season. Bradshaw also noted that the New York Jets are a possibility. Bradshaw said that he wants to go to a team that needs him, and noted that the Jets are such a team, with the added benefit that Bradshaw wouldn't have to move, which is always nice.
Whatever the case, Bradshaw’s market appears somewhat limited. He was still a productive running back this past season, but he hasn’t played a complete season since 2010. He’s been injured off and on throughout recent years, is 28 years old, which is the right side of 30 but still not ideal, and has issues with ball control.
Still, there are plenty of teams out there that could be interested in his services. Teams like the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions don't have set starters and could come calling. The Giants, meanwhile, have David Wilson to carry the load going forward, so despite Bradshaw's insistence that they remain a possibility, it still seems unlikely.
