NFL free agency: Giants will sign kicker Josh Brown
The New York Giants moved swiftly to address their kicking situation, signing Josh Brown.
The Giants moved to replace kicker Lawrence Tynes, who was assumed to be leaving town in free agency. Brown has a career field goal percentage of 81.3%, which is nearly identical to Tynes' 81.5%. Brown did make 11 of his 12 attempts with the Bengals in four games at the end of this past season.
Prior to 2012, Brown spent the first nine years of his career with the Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams.
