Well over 100 players have been scooped up off the NFL free agency market, but there is still some top talent up for grabs. Among them are a few players with starting experience that could be an instant fix for teams in a pinch. Here are the top 10 names still available to sign:

There are several solid starting players left in free agency, led by former Broncos pass rusher Elvis Dumervil.
1. Elvis Dumervil -- Had it not been for a bizarre series of fax machine-related events, the three-time Pro Bowl pass rusher would still be one of the best players on the Denver Broncos defense, but is on the open market instead. A player that has proven himself to be productive regardless of scheme, Dumervil has the ability to provide a season of double-digit sacks to any team that brings him on for the 2013 year.
2. Sebastian Vollmer -- The long delay that it took for Jake Long to sign with the St. Louis Rams froze the offensive tackle market as many of the top guys were waiting for the former-first overall selection to set the market. Now that he has, there are several top players still available, headlined by Vollmer, the former-New England Patriots right tackle. When healthy, he's as good as any in the game.
3. Andre Smith -- It took a couple seasons for Smith to enter the starting lineup of the Cincinnati Bengals and live up to his sixth overall selection, but he did in 2012 as a dominant right tackle for the team. Not quite as valuable as a left tackle, Smith is still a rock on the right side and made 16 consistent starts in 2012.

4. Nnamdi Asomugha -- Less than two years ago, Asomugha received a huge, five-year deal worth $60 million from the Philadelphia Eagles and was the talk of free agency. While his two seasons with the Eagles were disappointing, the three-time Pro Bowler can still be a very good starter in the NFL, especially if he’s allowed to play in the press role that suits him best.
5. Brent Grimes -- The 29-year-old, former-undrafted free agent was a Pro Bowl cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons in 2010. After a knee surgery in 2011 and a torn Achilles heel in the first game of 2012, he's certainly a risk, but can be a strong starter for a team if he can return to form.

6. Eric Winston -- After six years of starting experience with the Houston Texans, Eric Winston was a surprising cut during the 2012 offseason and immediately stuck with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he started 16 games. However, after another solid season at right tackle, he's again on the free agent market. While not quite the long-term piece that Vollmer and Smith are, Winston provides a very good cog for zone-blocking teams.

7. Ed Reed -- A nine-time Pro Bowler and five-time All Pro, Ed Reed is a player who needs no introduction, but is also 34. He looked like he had gas in the tank during the 2012 season, but he's obviously not a long-term piece for any team. However, he can be a starter right away and provide an instant boost for a team with a need at safety.
8. Kevin Kolb -- His career has been far from a success after six seasons, but Kolb wasn't the terrible quarterback that most thought he was in 2012. In fact, he orchestrated a comeback win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 and led the Arizona Cardinals to four consecutive wins before an injury ended his season in Week 6. No, he's not going to blow anyone away, but Kolb finished the year with an 86.1 quarterback rating, which could make him a solid option for many teams.
9. Antoine Winfield -- After 14 seasons in the NFL, Winfield is in the same boat as Ed Reed as a player with his best years in the rearview mirror. However, Winfield was a full-time starter for the Minnesota Vikings in 2012 and didn't show signs of slowing. A well-rounded cornerback that is very stout against the run, Winfield is another player who can fill in and be an instant starter for a team, if only for a year or two.

10. Julian Edelman -- Had it not been for the gaudy stats of Wes Welker out of the slot, perhaps Edelman would be more of a well-known name. The former Kent State quarterback was a do-everything player for the New England Patriots and can provide a team with a Swiss Army knife of a player who can contribute on offense and special teams at multiple positions.
Honorable Mention: Michael Huff -- A salary cap casualty of the Oakland Raiders, Huff is a versatile defensive back with experience as both a safety and a cornerback. A second-team, AP All-Pro during the 2010 season, Huff is a 30-year-old DB that can fill in for one of the many thin secondaries in the NFL.
