The New England Patriots have come to an agreement with offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer, according to Field Yates of ESPN Boston. No terms have been announced.
Sebastian Vollmer re-signs with Patriots, according to report
New England has shored up its offensive line by bringing Vollmer back into the fold.

Vollmer was one of the best free agent linemen remaining on the market, but the Patriots were persistent and able to keep one of their own. With the signing, New England has locked down the right side of its line, with Vollmer re-joining Nate Solder as the bookends protecting Tom Brady.
The Patriots drafted Vollmer in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft, hoping he would develop into a top player. The Germany native is a giant at 6’8 and 320 pounds who can mash in the run game but has a good enough feet to ward off onrushing linebackers and defensive ends.
Vollmer, 28, started 15 games last season for the Patriots.
