Ahmad Bradshaw rumors: Steelers, Packers among interested teams

Bradshaw has 30 rushing touchdowns and nearly 4,000 yards rushing in the last four seasons.

Former New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw hasn't found a new team yet, but told ESPN Radio that there are a few teams that have showed interest, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers and New York Jets. Via Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

“There are a lot of teams out there, but there are a couple teams that are interested, so I’ve heard,” Bradshaw said on ESPN Radio. “Pittsburgh, the Jets and the Packers, which are teams that I feel like need a running back, that I could help. Like I said, it’s a process. I just want to take it slow.”

Bradshaw, 27, spent the last six seasons with the Giants before he was released in February in an attempt to clear cap space for the team. While he finished the 2012 season with over 1,000 yards rushing, he struggled with a foot injury throughout the year and had surgery after the season was over. Due to his recovery from the injury, Bradshaw has been unable to work out for interested teams.

Both the Steelers and Jets are in the market for a running back to replace former starters, as both Rashard Mendenhall and Shonn Greene were allowed to reach free agency. The Packers bounced through a number of lesser-known running backs before turning to DuJuan Harris in the postseason.
