Bills interested in Kevin Kolb, according to report

The former Cardinals quarterback could have a new home, as the Bills are reportedly interested in his services.

The Buffalo Bills are in the market for another quarterback, and they could be interested in free agent Kevin Kolb, according to Pro Football Talk. Kolb was released by the Arizona Cardinals on March 15 after a disappointing tenure in the desert.

Buffalo's quarterback situation is pretty dire at the moment. The team released starter Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Tarvaris Jackson is the only signal caller on the roster with any real NFL experience. Adding Kolb to the mix probably wouldn't do much to help the situation, but it may not really hurt either. If the Bills do sign Kolb, he would have a chance to compete for the starting spot with Jackson and whichever rookie the team likely takes in the first or second round of the draft.

Kolb played in six games for the Cardinals in 2012, completing just under 60 percent of his passes and throwing eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He dealt with injury problems for long stretches of the season, including a rib problem that he sustained, oddly enough, against the Bills.
