The Cleveland Browns need offensive help in the worst way -- something that has been said every day since the franchise was moved back to the city in 1999 -- and they might find it in wide receiver Domenik Hixon.
Browns rumors: Domenik Hixon drawing interest from Cleveland
Cleveland is exploring all its options, including the possibility of Domenik Hixon.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns are somewhat interested in Hixon, who is currently an unrestricted free agent. Hixon isn’t that much of a threat on the offensive side of the ball, but he could fit in as a No. 3 receiver and a solid replacement for Josh Cribbs in the return game.
However, he did have his most productive season last year, racking up 39 receptions and 567 yards.
Hixon has played the majority of his career with the New York Giants, but he does have a tie to the area as a former Akron Zips star. Should general manager Mike Lonbardi bring him in, Hixon would slide in behind Josh Gordon and Greg Little on the depth chart.
