Mohamed Massaquoi agrees to deal with Jaguars, according to report

Jacksonville added the four-year veteran Massaquoi to its receiving corps on Friday.

Free agent wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi agreed to a deal with Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union. Massaquoi spent the last four seasons playing for the Cleveland Browns.

Massaquoi was limited by hamstring and knee injuries last season, making just five starts for the Browns and appearing in a total of nine games. He finished the year with career-lows in receptions (17) and receiving yards (254) as a result. His best season came as a rookie in 2009 when he had 624 yards receiving and three touchdowns; both marks still stand as career highs.

He joins a Jaguars team that ranked 21st in the league with an average of 213.7 passing yards per game in 2012. Jacksonville finished the year ranked 29th in total offense and averaged 15.9 points per game.
