Jake Locker injury: Titans QB says shoulder is ‘back to normal’

Jake Locker says he’s 100% healed from shoulder surgery and will be ready for contact in training camp.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker told the team's official website that his surgically-repaired left shoulder "feels like it's back to normal" and he will "definitely" be cleared for contact when training camp starts in July.

Locker missed five games last season when he twice separated his non-throwing shoulder. The injury hobbled him all year as he completed just 56.4 percent of his passes for 2,176 yards, 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

With the injury no longer a concern, it's now or never for Locker's Titans career. The team has done all they could to upgrade Locker's supporting cast, drafting Chance Warmack to pair with free agent Andy Levitre and trading up to take Justin Hunter. Locker's accuracy has been an issue ever since since college--he has never had a completion percentage above 60 in four years at Washington.
