Jake Locker injury: Titans QB says shoulder feels ‘normal’

The Titans are hoping for a breakout season from their third-year quarterback.

The Tennessee Titans have high hopes this year, but they need a better performance from quarterback Jake Locker to achieve their goals. Things are off to a good start, as Locker recently told 247 Sports that his left, non-throwing shoulder which he injured last season is feeling normal after offseason surgery.

Locker was dealing with all kinds of discomfort in the aftermath of the procedure, including sleeping in chairs to make sure he didn’t bother the shoulder. Now, Locker appears all-systems-go as the Titans move towards training camp with a few OTAs in the meantime.

Last year, Locker was handed the reigns for the first time and he struggled, completing only 56.4 percent of his passes while tossing only ten touchdowns compared to 11 interceptions.

This campaign has promise for him and the Titans, who acquired guards Chance Warmack through the draft and Andy Levitre via free agency, along with tight end Delanie Walker to replace the departed Jared Cook.
