Aaron Hernandez investigation: Police complete another search of TE’s house

Police searched Aaron Hernandez’s house again on Saturday, leaving with roughly 10 evidence bags.

For the second time this week, state police and other investigators executed a search warrant on Aaron Hernandez's house as the homicide investigation stemming from the death of Odin Lloyd continues. Police searched the Patriots tight end's house for nearly four hours on Saturday, leaving with roughly 10 evidence bags and a box, according to a report from Nick Underhill of MassLive.com.

While Hernandez was present during the search, he did not leave with police. No arrest warrant has been issued in the case, and a spokeswoman for the Bristol District Attorney’s office declined to comment on the state of the investigation on Saturday, according to CBS News.

Saturday’s search included roughly a dozen officers and two K-9 units. According to a report from the Boston Globe, police carried a pry bar into the house early in the search, with a locksmith arriving a short time later. The locksmith entered the house, but was there for only a few minutes before leaving the scene. In addition to searching inside of the house, police also searched two cars parked in Hernandez’s driveway.

Gerard DiSanto, the owner of a strip club in Providence, R.I., told the Boston Herald that homicide detectives searched the club on Thursday in relation to the investigation. DiSanto said he didn’t know what detectives were searching for and didn’t know if Hernandez was a regular at the club.

Police searched Hernandez’s house for the first time on Tuesday, but did not execute a search warrant until Thursday.
