Von Miller tested positive for marijuana, amphetamines in 2011, per report

The linebacker is also reportedly facing a four-game suspension.

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller tested positive for amphetamines and marijuana during his rookie season in 2011, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. Miller is facing a four-game suspension and is appealing, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. It's unknown whether or not the suspension is related to the positive drug tests.

More on the Broncos: Mile High Report

Due to the NFL's confidentiality clause, the league won't comment on the case unless the appeal fails. If Miller is indeed suspended before the season begins, it would likely be for the first four games of 2013. The Broncos open the year with home contests against the Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles in Weeks 1, 3 and 4, and a road date against the New York Giants in Week 2.

Miller is coming off an outstanding year in Denver. During 16 regular-season games, he recorded 18.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 68 tackles for the Broncos. During his rookie campaign to seasons ago, Miller had 11.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss and 64 tackles in 15 games.
