Manuel needs practice time before he can play

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY SportsOf course, the team would probably rather play Tuel than a very rusty Manuel. Marrone said that the first day Manuel is practicing with the team, he’ll have a “good feel for how long it may be” until Manuel is ready to play in an actual game situation.

Fantasy impact: The team doesn’t seem worried about the procedure, but this does give Kolb a chance to get back into the starting QB competition after a poor showing Friday.
