The Jacksonville Jaguars started off the season with about as bad of an effort as you'll see, and heading on the road to face the Raiders in Week 2 isn't the answer to their woes. The Jaguars gave Kansas City their most lopsided season-opening victory in decades after falling flat on their face 28-2 in Week 1.
NFL picks and predictions 2013, Jaguars vs. Raiders
Time to celebrate Raider Nation because you’ve pretty much already won the game.
The Raiders fell victim to one of Andrew Luck's late game-winning drives in Week 1 against the Colts, but the 21-17 loss doesn't hurt as bad as most do. Terrelle Pryor was serviceable in his second career start, throwing for 217 yards and rushing for 112 yards. He had two untimely interceptions in the red zone, however, that allowed the Colts to stay in the game.
In what might become a theme of the season for Jacksonville, virtually everyone everywhere is picking against them. Every writer at CBS Sports and at ESPN are predicting the Raiders will win the game, and the spread has increased to 6 points, according to Oddsshark.com. It isn't completely bad for the Jaguars. Upon further research, CBS Sports writer Dave Richards flipped sides and chose Jacksonville specifically for the column where he takes on Jake "The Snake" Roberts in weekly NFL picks.
