49ers vs. Seahawks 2013 inactives: Brandon Browner out, Cliff Avril set to debut

Brandon Browner will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury. Cliff Avril is active and ready to make his Seahawks debut Sunday.

The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers have released their inactive reports for Sunday night's NFC West clash.

Cornerback Brandon Browner is inactive for the second week in a row. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury the past two weeks and did not practice this week. Walter Thurmond will get the start, with Byron Maxwell working in the nickel slot. Chris Clemons is also out, still rehabbing from ACL surgery.

The good news for Seattle is that defensive end Cliff Avril is active. The big free agent signee will make his Seahawks debut this week after missing the opener.

The 49ers have a relatively healthy squad and had only one player on the injury report all week. Running back LaMichael James is out again as he works his way back from a knee injury. There are otherwise no big surprises for San Francisco.

Here’s the complete inactive list for both teams:

Seattle Seahawks

DE Chris Clemons, CB Brandon Browner, S Jeron Johnson, DT Jordan Hill, OT Michael Bowie, OT Alvin Bailey, RB Christine Michael

San Francisco 49ers

QB B.J. Daniels, WR Chris Harper, RB LaMichael James, LB Nathan Stupar, DT Tony Jerod-Eddie, G Joe Looney, WR Jon. Baldwin
