The San Francisco 49ers not only lost an important divisional game on Sunday night to the Seattle Seahawks, but also had multiple starters fall to injury in the process.
49ers vs. Seahawks 2013 injury report: Ian Williams breaks ankle in loss
The 49ers were injured on both sides of the ball during their loss to Seattle.

San Francisco lost nose tackle Ian Williams, defensive tackle Ray McDonald, tight end Vernon Davis and free safety Eric Reid as the game went on, according to the San Jose Mercury News. Williams was taken out on a legal cut block by Seahawks guard J.R. Sweezy, reportedly breaking his ankle. He was helped off the field before being carted to the locker room.
McDonald also suffered an ankle issue, although it’s not thought to be nearly as serious as Williams. Reid went down with a concussion and did not return to action while Davis dealt with a balky hamstring that hampered him throughout the rainy evening.
Seattle escaped the contest without any significant injuries other than left tackle Russell Okung, who sustained a foot injury. The severity of the injury was unclear as of Monday morning.
