This time last year, the New York Giants were 2-1 and the Kansas City Chiefs were 1-2. A lot can change in a year, as the undefeated Chiefs host a reeling 0-3 Giants squad this Sunday from Arrowhead Stadium.

A battered Eli Manning hopes to get his Giants into the win column against a surging Chiefs team.
The Chiefs were a popular pick to be one of the most improved teams in 2013, and they’ve lived up to the billing thus far. After a dismal 2-14 season a year ago, they’ve already surpassed 2012’s win total through three games, and new head coach Andy Reid, fresh off a victorious homecoming in Philadelphia, has the team playing sound football once again. With Colin Kaepernick suddenly struggling in San Francisco, the Chiefs move to acquire Alex Smith, who has a 94.1 rating and has yet to throw an interception through three games, is looking like an absolute steal.
The Giants nightmare start to 2013 reached a new low point last Sunday as they were blanked 38-0 by the Carolina Panthers. You can point your finger at any number of issues for Big Blue, but the most glaring is an offensive that has allowed over three sacks per game and watched Eli Manning go down six times in the first half against the Panthers. They could be in serious trouble this week against a nasty Chiefs front seven that sacked Michael Vick six times last Thursday.
