The Kansas City Chiefs passed another test on Sunday, beating the New York Giants thoroughly, 31-7.
Giants vs. Chiefs 2013: Kansas City riding high as Chiefs stay undefeated
The Chiefs and Giants are heading in complete opposite directions after Sunday’s game.

The Chiefs’ defense was once again dominant, and the Giants were out of sorts for much of the game. Kansas City is still undefeated after the win, improving to 4-0. Meanwhile, the Giants are winless and sit at 0-4. Who would have thought that would be the case a month into the season?
The folks over at Big Blue View summed up the Giants’ problems succinctly:
The Giants have been outscored 146-61 this season. They commit inexcusable turnovers and penalties. Their special teams are horrendous, with the exception of Damontre Moore. They can’t score. They can’t rush the passer.
The attitude over at Arrowhead Pride, SB Nation’s Chiefs blog, had a more positive view of Sunday’s game:
We learned this in Week 1, Week 2 and Week 3. Now we learn it again in Week 4. This defense is, through one month of games, elite. Will they stay this way throughout the season? I have no idea but they have been outstanding for the past four games. You hold opponents under two scores a game and you are going to win a LOT of games.
This defense is good enough that even when the offense struggles they can win by 24 points. That’s what happened today as the Chiefs defense stuffed the Giants again and again.
