Alex Smith threw his second interception of the season, but it's hard to pin this one on the quarterback as Jamaal Charles helped contribute to one of the strangest interceptions you're likely to see all season.
Giants play pinball, pick off Alex Smith
This is one of the strangest interceptions you’ll see all season.

The ball careens off Charles' shin following contact, putting it back into the air at the perfect height where safety Antrel Rolle can make a play on the ball, but not before it bounces off the defender's helmet. Call this a 'heads up play' all you want, but happening to have his left arm in the perfect position to corral the pass is a lucky break.
This is the kind of opportunity the Giants could really use in a close game. Kansas City currently lead New York by ten points, while Eli Manning has thrown a poor interception of his own, as well as giving away a fumble.
