The Seahawks entered the game with a depleted offensive line, and the reserves had no answer for J.J. Watt and Houston's ferocious line. The Texans threatened early on, but the Seahawks got lucky with another tipped interception in the red zone. A Seattle field goal was the only score in the first quarter.
The Texans poured it on in the second quarter. Matt Schaub split Seattle's defense at the start of the second quarter, nailing a wide open Garrett Graham for a 31-yard touchdown. Arian Foster added to the lead with a 5-yard score, and the team capitalized on a Marshawn Lynch fumble to get a field goal. They added another one before the half and went into the locker room up, 20-3.
The Seahawks offense was anemic all day until it found a spark in the third quarter, scoring 17 unanswered points. They finally found the end zone in the fourth quarter, when a Lynch touchdown cut the deficit to seven points. After a Wilson interception to Johnathan Joseph with just over five minutes to go, Schaub threw a 58-yard pick-six to Richard Sherman to tie the game up. The Texans' last-minute drive came up short, sending the game to overtime.
Houston got the ball first in extra time, but neither team managed to score on its first possession, making it a sudden-death scenario. The Seahawks benefited from a personal foul penalty by Houston, putting them in field goal range. Steven Hauschka kicked a 45-yarder to complete the epic comeback and seal the win.
Fantasy studs and duds
