Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson will play on Sunday at home against the Seattle Seahawks, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Andre Johnson injury: Texans WR expected to start vs. Seahawks
The Texans receiver will play on Sunday after being limited all week with a shin injury.

Johnson had been limited in practice this past week with a shin injury and was officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game on the team’s injury report on Friday. The Texans had been calling Johnson a game-time decision for most of the week, with coach Gary Kubiak stating he was encouraged by the receiver’s strong practice on Friday. There appears to be no plan to limit the veteran receiver’s snaps.
The 11th-year receiver caught 12 balls for 146 yards in the season opener against San Diego but has been limited in his effectiveness since. Johnson finished with 76 yards on 8 catches in Week 2 against the Titans before being sidelined with a concussion, and caught just five passes for 36 yards in last week's 30-9 beatdown in Baltimore.
The Texans kick off against the Seahawks at 1 p.m. ET.
