Le’Veon Bell ends Steelers rushing drought with TD

The Steelers rookie ran for the first touchdown of his career in London.

Le'Veon Bell broke the Steelers' rushing drought and ran for his first NFL touchdown on an eight-yard carry, finding the corner and somersaulting into the end zone.

The score was more significant than it initially appeared, as the touchdown was the first rushing score the Steelers have had since Week 15 of 2012. The normally hard-nosed offense has collapsed on the run while waiting for its second-round pick to be ready.

Bell was unable to play for the first three weeks of the season while he recovered from injury, causing huge problems for the Pittsburgh running attack. The offense ran for just 155 yards in three games, averaging just 3.0 yards per carry. Felix Jones was the team's most successful back, running for 71 yards on 17 carries. Bell has 15 yards at the close of the first quarter.
