Steelers vs. Vikings 2013 results: Matt Cassel leads Minnesota to first win of the year
Pittsburgh leaves London staring at an 0-4 record after falling short against the Vikings.
Matt Cassel started in place of an injured Christian Ponder (ribs), but it's possible he won't give that job back after moving the Vikings to 1-3. Cassel helped open the scoring with a 70-yard touchdown to Greg Jennings before Adrian Peterson added a 60-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Minnesota led 34-17 before the Steelers managed to close the gap late in the game, but it was not enough as Peterson ran down the clock to seal the win. Big Ben leaves London still looking for his first win.
Fantasy studs and duds
Cassel threw for 248 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Both of those scores went to Jennings, who finished with three catches for 92 yards. Peterson ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns of his own.
Steelers rookie Le'Veon Bell made his debut and ran for 57 yards with two touchdowns. He also added 27 yards receiving.
Most of the fantasy options in this high-scoring game were productive, though Kyle Rudolph was held to two catches and six yards.
Injury report
Ben Roethlisberger was evaluated with a thumb injury but played through it. Steelers guard Ramon Foster left with a chest injury and did not return.
