Percy Harvin injury: Seahawks WR could be ready for Super Bowl, per report

The wide receiver is out on Sunday against the 49ers.

Seattle wide receiver Percy Harvin will not play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers, but is expected to play if the Seahawks make the Super Bowl, Ian Rapoport is reporting.

Harvin struggled with injuries all season long, and he suffered a concussion in Seattle's playoff victory against the New Orleans Saints. After trading three draft picks to the Vikings for Harvin, Seattle signed the wide receiver to a long-term deal, but he was able to appear in just one regular season game in 2013 due to the injury problems. He caught one pass for 17 yards in that game.

In his previous four years in the NFL, Harvin exceeded 600 yards receiving each and every season. His most productive year came in 2011, when he caught 87 passes for 967 yards and six touchdowns, while also running 52 times for 345 yards and two scores (with a kick return touchdown as well).
