Doug Baldwin injury: Seahawks wide receiver questionable to return after hurting hip

Seattle lost another wide receiver in the first half against San Francisco.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin left the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers in the second quarter with a hip injury.

Baldwin had just caught a 51-yard pass from Russell Wilson before he exited the game. He hit the turf hard after making the catch and was seen jogging to the locker room moments later. He is listed as questionable to return with the hip injury.

The Seahawks are already short in the wide receiver department. Percy Harvin is not playing because of a concussion, and Sidney Rice is out for the season. Seattle will now be relying on Golden Tate and Jermaine Kearse in the passing game.

Seattle’s offense has struggled to get going in the first half, and Baldwin appeared to be a bit of a spark for them. Now even more pressure falls on the shoulders of quarterback Russell Wilson, who had connected with Baldwin three times for 80 yards before the injury.
