Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson left the team's game against the New Orleans Saints with a knee injury Sunday. Jackson went down hard on a play and left for the sideline, where he was looked at by the medical staff. The team later announced that he would not return to the game.
Vincent Jackson suffers knee injury vs. Saints
Jackson left the game in the second quarter with an injury to the same knee that made him miss time earlier in the season.

Unfortunately, it’s an injury to the same knee that has been problematic for Jackson this season. Injuries have limited him to nine games this year. He caught just one pass for 5 yards before exiting the game in the second quarter.
Jackson has 33 catches for 543 yards and three touchdowns on the season for the Buccaneers. He is second on the team behind Mike Evans, who has 850 yards and three touchdowns. The next receiver on the stat sheet is seventh-year veteran Louis Murphy, who has just 198 receiving yards and no touchdowns on the year.
Murphy should get an uptick in snaps with Jackson out. Jackson is playing in his 11th season in the NFL.
